Chae Dojun’s life, marred by misfortune and ill luck, has left him skeptical of the whims of fate. Dismissing romanticized ideals, he aims for a modest aspiration: to live a contented life. However, the burden of caring for a sick parental figure, the constant troubles of a “brother,” and a mounting pile of debts make even this humble dream seem out of reach.
